Monday is like usual
Monday in Udon Thani. I go to the school like the other days. And stay there
from 08.00 am – 04.00 pm. For the lunch, I try something new, fruits. I don’t
know the name of the fruit. But it looks like raw mango. It looks exactly like
‘pencok’ in Indonesia. ‘Pencok’ is raw and sour fruit, usually mango that we
eat with salt and chili. I see a small pocket of salt and chili in each pack of
fruit. That’s why I think that this is ‘pencok’ for sure. So I try to buy one
pack. And it’s not like what I imagine before. The fruit is not sour, but very
sweet. It’s crunchy and doesn’t taste like ‘pencok’ at all. From this day
onwards, I often buy this fruit for my dessert.
